Dr. Péter Orosz is the Head of the Smart Communications Laboratory and an Associate Professor in the Department of Telecommunications and Artificial Intelligence at BME. His primary R&D interest focuses on network and service management, covering the performance analysis of communication networks and services, QoE modeling and monitoring, DDoS protection, and guaranteeing QoS for industrial IoT. He contributed to several national and European R&D projects and cooperated with a wide-scale of industrial partners. Beyond the research work, he also leads the development of novel network and service measurement and analytics systems actively used in the industry. He also serves as a member of the organizing committees for the IEEE Network Operations and Management Symposium (NOMS) and Conference on Network and Service Management (CNSM) conferences.
